If a partnership between luxury label Chanel and sportswear brand Adidas seems impossible, well, think again. Thanks to Pharrell, who’s a face of Chanel and a frequent Adidas collaborator, the trifecta released a pair of sneakers. The epitome of mixing high and low, the sneakers in question are Adidas’ HU NMD style which feature the Three Stripes’ popular Boost sole matched with a Primeknit upper. Crafted in classic Chanel black and white, the sneakers take literal to the next level with the words “Pharrell” and “Chanel” on top. Finishing off the shoes is Adidas’ signature wraparound lacing system. These kicks are extremely limited with only 500 in circulation, all strictly available through a raffling system. If you missed them – it might be too late now. The shoes were only available for pick-up at Colette in Paris for the lucky winners, but we’re sure a few pairs will be floating around on the resell market if you’re willing to shell out the cash. Guess the end of the sneaker trend isn’t here yet…
