#obsessed: Top picks from Bvlgari, Tory Burch, The Peninsula and more

This month, we’re #obsessed with the top collections from Omega, Peninsula, Bvlgari, Tory Burch, Dom Pérignon and The Upper House

Omega – masters of the universe

There are few leading men who exemplify timeless style quite like George Clooney and Hyun Bin. So it’s only fitting that the two actors were chosen to promote a watch collection known for quality, performance and timeless charm. First introduced in 2013, Omega’s iconic Speedmaster ’57 is known for its slim style, colourful dials, vintage bracelet and outstanding Co-Axial Master Chronometer 9906 movement. The latest update consists of eight new stainless steel models featuring thinner cases, finer bezels and a Master Chronometer upgrade sure to appeal to a new generation of Speedy fans.

The Peninsula Boutique – merry and bright

Taking their cue from the traditional Christmas decoration, this year’s holiday offerings from The Peninsula Boutique come wrapped in an elegant “Wreath of Wonder”. The colourful packaging is perfect for gifting with a delectable array of festive treats including pralines, panettone, seasonal cookies and presents available in themed gift boxes. The Peninsula Boutique is also featuring five different hamper options, an actual artisanal wreath and a Sparkle Advent Calendar, and will be hosting a series of weekend events for the whole family to get into the Christmas spirit.

Bvlgari – wonder full

As demonstrated by Karena Lam and a host of Hong Kong’s most dazzling celebrities at the recent “I Believe in Wonder” Christmas party at the BVLGARI flagship boutique in Landmark Chater, the festive season is the perfect time to get dressed up and indulge in the joy of miracles. The Roman jeweller has baubles and bags to adorn every glamorous outfit, from a Serpenti High Jewellery collection bracelet in white gold with two pear brilliant-cut diamonds and pavé-set diamonds to a Serpentine mini tote bag in natural suede with different-size degradé gold crystals.

Tory Burch – living the dream

A new fragrance collection from Tory Burch, Essence of Dreams was developed over the course of two years in collaboration with Shiseido and the world’s leading perfumers. Each scent is guided by Burch’s journey and her mission to inspire everyone to live with character, beauty and confidence. Designed to be mixed, layered and adapted to suit the person who wears it, each scent is also connected to a dream and a feeling: Divine Moon and peace, Electric Sky and freedom, Mystic Geranium and joy, Cosmic Wood and magic, Sublime Rose and love.

Dom Pérignon – coming up rosé

After kicking off with “The Queendom” last year, Dom Pérignon and Lady Gaga are continuing their collaboration with a limited-edition design for Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2008. The “fruit of their shared ambition to discover harmony in tensions” arrives in time for the end-of-year season and celebrates creative freedom with an inflated metallic cover that pushes out from within, as though escaping its own form. The bouquet, meanwhile, opens with raspberries, rapidly joined by notes of violet and angelica, and finishes with peonies and white pepper.

The Upper House – decking the halls

The Upper House is taking a new approach to Christmas decorations this year with the help of Hong Kong design agency Editecture. The hotel commissioned founders Jacqueline Chak and Genevieve Chew to create a bespoke tree focusing on sustainability. The result is a one-of-a-kind structure that transforms into 21 pieces of furniture, making it the first ever Christmas tree that is 100 per cent reusable and uses 100 per cent recycled materials. Each of its seven layers can be reconfigured into furniture sets made from recycled plastic bottles and other upcycled materials.
