We finally hear it from the horse’s mouth: the KAWS 4’s are set to release Spring 2017.

For the past week, leaked photos of the rumoured KAWS x Jordan collaboration have been circulating, showing a tonal gray colourway— reminiscent of the Public School (PSNY) 12’s—with nubuck and hairy suede on the upper.

On March 3, Kaws confirmed that those images are indeed the new collaboration, by posting an ‘official’ image to their Instagram account. The shoe’s outsole features a drawing of the signature Companion gloves, which is beneath the semi-transparent and glow-in-the-dark sole. The famous Companion’s eyes will replace the traditional Nike swish on the back tab and on the shoe tab. Due to the similarity in the shoes’ nature in hype and quality in materials, expect the KAWS 4’s to walk a similar path to the PSNY 12’s. 

The shoes are expected to release this spring, though no official date has been given.
