The debonaire dunhill dandies: self expression through style

Featuring Jay Fung, Tim Fung, and Jerry C

Introducing dunhill’s newest addition to the family: the Belgrave collection. Pieces are crafted using the finest-quality small-grain calfskin leather, while each creation is embellished with faceted edge-metal hardware and finished with dunhill’s signature Engine Turn pattern engraving.

Dressed in dunhill’s sleek and elegant autumn/winter 2019 collection, Jay, Tim and Jerrie all share similar attitudes when it comes to the way they dress and use fashion as the ultimate form of self-expression, despite coming from three very different backgrounds.

The three Hong Kong gentlemen demonstrate the spirit of dunhill’s quintessentially British yet metropolitan style as well as the Belgrave phone holder from three different perspectives, all showcasing the timelessness and innovation of the modern man.

Jay Fung

Can you tell us a bit about yourself?

My name is Jay Fung, and I’m a singer-songwriter in Hong Kong.

What is your style philosophy?

Because of my work in the music industry, whether I’m on or off stage, I hope I can truly express who I am and what my music is all about through my own unique sense of style and what I wear. My style philosophy has always been sleek, chic, yet comfortable. Because I always believe in feeling and looking good and stylish, but at the same, feeling comfortable when I’m performing on stage.

What do you think about the Belgrave collection, and how does it fit in with your lifestyle?

I really appreciate the softness and the genuine quality of the leather used in the Belgrave collection, and, more importantly, how functional the Belgrave phone holder is. At the same time, it is chic and sophisticated, which makes it the perfect piece to go along with the rest of my wardrobe, especially for a night on the town.

Tim Fung

Can you tell us a bit about yourself?

I’m Tim and I work as a social media and digital marketing consultant for my clients across Asia.

What is your style philosophy?

Cool, Calm & Collected. Fashion is all about self-expression, and I think that your own style should evidently speak you but at the same time look effortlessly chic. I’m all about wearing cross functional pieces that make me look professional during client meetings in the day whilst incorporating cool and funky elements into my outfit that can carry on into the night for an event or drinks with friends.

What do you think about the Belgrave collection, and how does it fit in with your lifestyle?

I’m absolutely enthralled by the details, sophistication and functionality of this collection. The design of each piece is approachable enough that it complements everything in my wardrobe, from a classic office suit to a casual tee & denim combo on the weekend. At the same time, it makes you feel like a modern gentleman from the moment you put it on.

Jerry C

Can you tell us a bit about yourself?

My name is Jerry, and I’m a travel enthusiast. I’m an individual that loves to travel around the world for adventures and to observe what mother nature offers. I love to breath fresh air and listen to nature’s songs and the best way to experience that is to travel.

What is your style philosophy?

Simple yet stylish is basically my philosophy. I always look for items that can highlight my taste.

What do you think about the Belgrave collection?

This collection gave me a rather unique feel, it’s very different from traditional leather goods. Pairing the soft calf leather with their signature silver stamp gives it an extra edge.
