Calvin Klein x Andy Warhol’s sexy new capsule for the art lover

Calvin Klein x Andy Warhol: Exposures, ’77-’85 Women

Calvin Klein certainly knows underwear but Andy Warhol definitely knew how to capture sexy. Calvin Klein’s new capsule collection, as part of their ongoing partnership with The Andy Warhol Foundation, titled ‘Andy Warhol: Exposures, ’77-’85, features four cheeky polaroid snaps tastefully placed on an assortment of CK essentials.

The brand’s first capsule collection used black and white prints from Warhol’s 1963 film Kiss. The experimental film was made in response to Hollywood’s attempt to censor kisses that lasted for more than three seconds and features various couples, including same-sex couples, kissing for three and a half minutes.

A celebration of artistic and individual expression, the second capsule collection also encourages us to confront and be comfortable about our sexuality and thoughts about ‘exposure’. The collection of timeless tees, tanks and underwear are a great and fun way to pay homage to the late Warhol.

A classic piece any Warhol will love to have

If you only cop one thing, get your hands on a pair of their signature waistband boxer-brief and trunks, for the gents, and bras, bikinis and boy shorts, for the ladies, featuring both the names ‘Calvin Klein’ and ‘Andy Warhol’ side-by-side.
