In an age where the lines between style and utility are more blurred than ever in the luxury world, Audemars Piguet premieres a new generation of Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph 43mm which embodies durability, contemporary aesthetics and timelessness all at once. Sporting the new timepiece is French freerunner Sébastien Foucan; the performance artist and athlete’s free spirit is the perfect embodiment of the Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph 43mm’s contemporary aesthetics.

The new Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph 43mm combines the enduring characteristics of the early 2000s 44mm collection with evolved aesthetics—larger hand-polished chamfers, a slight curvature of the bezel, the screw-locked crown and chronograph push-pieced and satin-brushed finishing.

The new timepiece introduces Calibre 4401, the latest in-house integrated flyback chronograph equipped with a column wheel, a vertical clutch system and a patented zero resetting mechanism for instant restart and seamless reset, immune to spontaneous jumps of the hands.

Fitted with new secure interchangeable rubber straps in black, blue, grey and brown hues, the new system is directly integrated into the buckle and case’s studs, allowing for a quick and simple switch between straps.

The Royal Oak Offshore trademark—the “Méga Tapisserie” pattern—decorates the dial in shades of black, grey, light brown or blue with enhanced depth achieved by the sharpening of the pyramids and a raised criss-cross pattern.

As if the new designs aren’t diverse enough, the five archetypes come in a variety of cases and push-piece guards—stainless steel, titanium and 18-karat pink gold—in combination with bezels, push-pieces and screw-locked crowns all crafted in black ceramics, emphasising a two-tone contrast. If you are one for a classic and simple look, the all-titanium Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph 43mm is for you.
