Alexander McQueen and Globe-Trotter Launch Exclusive Travel Cases

To further their collaboration that started from Spectre’s release, Globe-Trotter and Alexander McQueen have announced the launch of two additional travel cases made to celebrate their reign as two of Britain’s finest labels.

The 21-inch trolley case and 13-inch mini utility cases have been adjourned with silver studs and riveting, the design extending to the leather straps with Alexander McQueen’s logo etched onto the metal buckle. The leather straps provide extra security for the larger trolley case, but acts as a stylish cross-body shoulder straps for the utility case. The interior of the cases is also lined carefully with McQueen’s much sought-after ivory-and-black skull print and the brand’s iconic plaque, while the leather clochette encasing the padlock keys are embossed with Globe-Trotter’s logo. The marrying of both brand’s iconic styles has captured the zeitgeist of luxury travelling perfectly.

Made with vulcanised fibreboards, these cases are well known for their durable yet lightweight feature. The soft leather corners add a touch of luxury fit for even the most respected luminaries. Established in 1897, Globe-Trotter products have since then been used by an enviable client list over the years, including Sir Winston Churchill, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Eddie Redmayne and Kate Moss.

The exclusive cases will be produced in limited quantities, available for sale in Globe-Trotter’s London store starting Wednesday 15th June, 2016, as well as Alexander McQueen’s stores in selected countries, including Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Paris and USA stores. The trunks will also be available from Hong Kong’s Lane Crawford stores.
