This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Van Cleef & Arpels Alhambra motif, dubbed the symbol of luck, since 1968. This distinctive motif has been the soul of the Maison since then, and the most recognisable symbol.

Their latest additions to their Alhambra long necklace by Van Cleef & Arpels include the Blue Agate stones finished off in yellow gold with guillochage technique. The Maison is proud to introduce this engraving technique derived from their 1930’s ladies’ powder box. There’s also a Vintage Alhambra set which includes a 10-motif necklace, five-motif bracelet and a pair of earrings captured in dazzling lines on mirrored-polished yellow gold with their signature beaded border. Last but not least, Van Cleef & Arpels celebrates our holiday season (Mid-Autumn Festival) with a limited edition Vintage Alhambra pendant showcasing the gold mother-of-pearl for the first time embellished in the middle of the motif with a touch of a diamond.

Finally, to round things off in the name of ‘luck’, the new Vintage Alhambra Guilloche 5-motif bracelet necklaces and bracelets are revealed in a poetic and wintry short animated film created by Burcu & Geoffrey. The star-turned butterfly takes us on a journey through the forest under the evening sky and full moon revealing a magical journey with Van Cleef & Arpels’ forest creatures as well as showcasing their Alhambra’s collection.
