Maison Mumm releases RSRV champagne in Hong Kong

Beginning in November, Maison Mumm, makers of famed champagne are releasing their RSRV range in Hong Kong. Originally reserved for close friends and family, and passed on without labels, the Maison has decided to release this exclusive collection to Hong Kong for the first time.

RSRV wines are selected by cellar masters during harvest to age and are eventually bottled as limited RSRV champagne. Four select cuvées, Blanc  de  Noirs  2009,  Blanc  de  Blancs  2012,  4.5,  and  Lalou  2006 will be released in Hong Kong, but unfortunately, the Blanc de Noirs has already been fully reserved by a client.

Luckily, the other cuvées will be available to purchase, but they are held in limited quantities, so if you want to get your hands on a bottle or two, you’re going to want to act quickly. The RSRV range crosses the full spectrum of taste, from the light and delicate Blanc de Blancs 2012 to the more complicated and iconic Cuvée Lalou 2006.

If you’d rather try the RSRV range while dining, you’re in luck, Maison Mumm and Le Relais & Chateau Bibo will be holding an Oscar Wilde-themed dinner for 40 people which will include a lavish meal paired with RSRV champagnes. These coveted spots are by application only, and you’ll have to email [email protected] to reserve a spot.

To purchase yourself, bottles can be purchased at Watson’s Wine, which will have the RSRV Cuvée 4.5 and the RSRV Blanc de blancs 2012. The RSRV Lalou 2006 (as well as the RSRV Blanc de blancs 2012) is exclusively available at the Mandarin Oriental’s Pierre as well. How’s that for fancy champagne? Bottoms up!
