Fall in Love With Marc Jacobs Resort 2017 Collection and the Revolutionary Snapshot Bag

The Resort 2017 Snapshot bag

Backstage at his Resort 2017 runway show in June, Marc Jacobs told Vogue, “We took Fall and made it kitsch, and went from YouTube back to MTV.” The statement pretty much sums up his collection: a kaleidoscope of neon and animal prints filled with crimped hair and pop culture themes, including sweatshirts with huge MTV logos.

The designer threw a kitschy 80’s party last week to launch the collection and while we all went gaga at all the debauchery that went down – sequinned covered ladies on table tops and deejays in fantastic drag – what really caught our eye is the return of the Snapshot bag, seen on guests including actresses Emma Greenwell, Karrueche Tran and Korean model Hoyeon Jung.

A petite crossbody bag featuring the double “j” logo and a chunky guitar strap, the Snapshot bag is playful and uniquely Marc Jacobs. Updated for Resort 2017, the bag comes with a thicker guitar strap and novelty iterations in animal prints, patchworks and denim.
