Loro Piana brings enchanting 'Workshop of Wonders' to Harrods

Nov 11, 2024

As festivities are ramping up in London, Loro Piana celebrates a century of craftsmanship by transforming the iconic department store into a festive spectacle, showcasing the artistry behind its exquisite materials

Until 2 January 2025, Loro Piana invites visitors to immerse themselves in the magic of the holiday season with its 'Workshop of Wonders' installation at Harrods. This captivating takeover features an elaborate façade on Brompton Road, 36 beautifully themed windows, and two interactive pop-up shops, all designed to celebrate the brand's 100-year heritage.

The installation narrates the journey of luxury fibres through intricate animations and storytelling, culminating in a stunning 17-metre holiday tree adorned with fabric and festive decorations. Each window offers a glimpse into the origins of Loro Piana’s materials, from the rare vicuña in the Andes to merino sheep in Australia, highlighting the artisanship that transforms these fibres into coveted luxury goods.

In addition to the visual spectacle, two new boutiques are opening at Harrods: one dedicated to Loro Piana’s Kids Collection and another showcasing Loro Piana Interiors. Exclusive products celebrating the brand’s legacy will also be available, including handcrafted garments and home textiles that reflect Loro Piana's commitment to quality and elegance.

The 'Workshop of Wonders' not only underscores Loro Piana’s ties with Harrods but also serves as a poetic reminder of the artistry involved in creating some of the world's finest textiles. This immersive experience promises to enchant visitors of all ages, blending festive cheer with a celebration of craftsmanship that has defined Loro Piana for a century.
