“I really want to recommend Laizas Ceramic in Tai Hang. My mum came to visit me last month for Mid-Autumn Festival and I took her to one of the private workshops for two. It’s a great way to unplug, get together and just have fun. If a workshop sounds too daunting, the studio also offers a variety of beautiful, functional pieces like plates, mugs and bowls, all made by hand!”

“When I have a day off, I enjoy immersing myself in the world of museums as a way to clear my mind, unwind and rejuvenate. Whether I’m at MoMA in New York, the British Museum or the Hong Kong History Museum,
I find solace in browsing through different exhibits and taking my time to absorb the knowledge and beauty they offer. In Hong Kong, I like to visit the West Kowloon Cultural District. It boasts a spacious and serene green area, where I can sit back and unwind. There are also several charming coffee shops, with Rest Coffee Gin being a personal favourite. Their espresso tonic is the perfect blend to refresh my mind while enjoying the picturesque view. After indulging in a cup of coffee, I’ll go and explore the different exhibitions at M+ and the Hong Kong Palace Museum.”

“This month, I’m looking forward to performing and hanging out with musician friends at Tone Music Festival and watching Charlie Puth at Asia World-Expo! I’m also excited for the Freespace Jazz Fest at West Kowloon Cultural District – I’ll be catching performances by local jazz acts and enjoying the autumn breeze along the banks of Victoria Harbour. I also made plans for a doggie play date and dinner with my dog and other dog mum friends and their fur babies at GoNuts. I heard their waffles are crazy good and there’s a beautiful waterfront where
the dogs can play and run around.”
