“I’m excited to try Five Samurai, a new Japanese restaurant at K11 Musea that promises sizzling teppanyaki, succulent yakitori and other exquisite dishes as well as craft beer, sake, wine and cocktails made by award-winning mixologists. Plus, we can look out at Victoria Harbour and enjoy the iconic Hong Kong skyline.”

“With Chinese New Year just around the corner, there are a few new restaurants in town that I’d recommend if
you’re celebrating with family and friends. Woo Cheong Tea House is a revamp of the old Pawn. The space has been completely reworked with an epic new look. Serving premium Chinese cuisine, head chef Edmond Ip is a master at reinventing classics, delivering dishes you love with innovative twists and jaw-dropping presentation. Black Sheep Group has recently reopened Ho Lee Fook with a completely new look. Head chef ArChan is a true culinary artist and is ready to take your taste buds to a whole new level with traditional Hong Kong-style dishes. On the nightlife side, travel restrictions have seen popup and secret parties become a huge hit. SurpriseSurprise is currently planning one of the most exciting party experiences, where you are fully immersed in a world of dance, culture, art and music. It’s a true masterpiece. Stay tuned for details on their next party via their Instagram.”

“This month I’m thrilled to catch Hong Kong’s first-ever Cap-Art exhibition, SUB9TURE, presented by The Stallery and Carnaby Fair [before it ends on February 13]. This will definitely be a kickstarter for the coming art month. The exhibition showcases different local artists through digital installations, large-scale displays, and the creation of wearable art and NFTs. There’s also a huge graffiti-jamming project with The Plumber King.”

“I generally enjoy spending my time outdoors, so during this lockdown, I opt for hikes with friends over the weekend. I’ve been looking to spend a day in Yuen Long to pick strawberries at Kam Tin Country Club Strawberry Farm, check out La Cafeteria, and take a walk at the Kam Sheung Road Flea Market. I also love spending time at home, so I’ve got a long list of things I want to bake. As for collabs, I heard about H&M’s upcoming one with Iris Apfel late last year, so I’m excited to see what they have in store!”

“I’m looking forward to the Yiu Fung Mart from mid January till Chinese New Year! The theme is ‘When
Tradition Meets Fashion’. There will be a lot of crossover products released and also collaborations with TeemTonefai, The Roll, Dragonmade8 and Raw Emotions. The pop-up is at CityPlaza Phase 2 and Central Market.”
