What are your fitness goals for 2021?

My goal is to get even more people to become active, whether it’s training, dancing, hiking, walking or running. For myself, I want to learn more about photography.

Describe a typical week of workouts for you:

I am moving every day, whether it’s with big or small workouts. I move with my clients for HIIT, strength, mobility and dance workouts, and I film fitness videos and post them at least once a week. I also walk the dog daily and hike once or twice a week.

What is your favourite workout?

I’d have to say two: HIIT (high intensity interval training) and dance!

Your favourite healthy meal?

Vegetable soup, Chinese or Western style.

Your favourite cheat meal?

I am very open about my ‘Junk Food Fridays,’ where I’ll have anything from fried chicken to pizza and heavier Asian meals.

Where are your fave workout spots in Hong Kong?

Zero Carbon Building in Kowloon Bay, ‘The Stage’ in Tamar Park and Olympic Square in Hong Kong Park.

What do you enjoy most about being a personal and group fitness trainer?

Who else gets paid for yelling at your clients? (laughs) And the reward of seeing people go from zero to 100 – I go from kicking their butts to them kicking mine back! The more amazing thing is, I can see people not only changing their lifestyle but using the positive energy towards everything they do. It’s all about their glow, their confidence and social skills.

If you weren’t a fitness trainer, what would you be?

I’d probably be doing what I did before – I was a fashion, jewellery and furniture designer. Anything creative would be fun.

How do you stay motivated?

I have people watching me 24/7 so I have to stay active! Besides having two children, whom I need to set examples for, I also run my own social media platforms, where I produce fitness content in hopes of inspiring more people to get moving.

Who is your fitness inspiration?

J.Lo, no doubt.
