What’s better than instant gratification? Instant make-up, of course. With more beauty brands creating virtual make-up filters on Instagram, no longer do we need to spend hours and hours in front of the mirror applying makeup meticulously for a selfie when the same effect can be achieved in seconds? This is an exploration of the relationship between instant beauty looks and applying make-up the old fashioned way. It’s the battle of filter versus brush.
