Sophy Wong

Sophy Wong is a Hong Kong singer-songwriter who first gained public attention when she came 7th in The Voice (Hong Kong) singing competition in 2009. After a period of being managed by TVB, she branched out and set up her own record label through which she has released two EPs to date. As evident from her Instagram, Wong shows no sign of stopping with the many live performances she puts on.

What is something your followers might not know about you?

Borlorbao is my true love. And I’ve recently launched my creative label SOSOS to serve as a new project to connect with the community. Stay tuned…

If you were a brand, what would be your motto?

My motto would be “Create, always create and stay true.”

What did you want to be when you were younger?

A singer, a teacher and a lawyer (lol what a random combo).

Who inspires you?

My friends around me.

What has been your favorite memory this year?

My live show in Taipei Witch House. It had been three years since I last performed there with other line ups. But this time it was a completely full house, solo performance and I’m so glad to meet cute people from different places through music!
