Kaylin Hsieh

Kaylin Hsieh is a 23-year-old fencing star from Hong Kong. Born in Canada, she lived there until the age of four before moving to Hong Kong, where she began her fencing journey at six. Initially training in foil, she switched to épée after her coach recognised her potential. Hsieh has achieved significant success, including winning a gold medal at the 2023 Asian U23 Fencing Championship and securing three titles at the Hong Kong Open Fencing Championships. Notably, she became the first athlete from Hong Kong to win the Atlantic Coast Conference title and represented her region at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. In addition to her athletic career, Hsieh is a student at the University of Notre Dame and a YouTuber, sharing insights into her life and training. Her vibrant personality shines through in her social media posts, where her signature smile reflects her uplifting spirit.
