Gucci Cruise Show to Be Staged in a Museum

Gucci is set to stage their next Cruise show in Florence on May 29 at the Palatina Gallery in Pitti Place, continuing their tradition of debuting their holiday collections in fabulous locations like Westminster Abbey and the Dia Art Foundation in New York.
The collaboration comes as part of an ongoing cultural project Gucci is sponsoring with the city of Florence and the Uffizi Gallery. The fashion house is donating US$2.2 million to help restore the city’s iconic Boboli Gardens, located just beside the gallery. The show will be the gallery’s first foray into fashion.
