Japanese fashion brand Onitsuka Tiger pairs up with another Japanese icon, Astro Boy, for a special new line

This year, Onitsuka Tiger celebrates its 75th anniversary with a collection featuring the iconic anime character Astro Boy. This collaboration is fitting as both are Japanese pioneers: Astro Boy broke ground as Japan’s first full-length animated TV series, while Onitsuka Tiger introduced the first pair of sneakers made in Japan.

This special collection of of 47 unisex products features original logos and Astro Boy designs on a variety of shirts, bomber jackets, skirts, trousers, personal bags, hats, footwear and so on. All products from this line will be in exclusive original packaging, including shopping bags and packaging boxes with the words “ASTRO BOY” printed on them.

These will be available at Onitsuka Tiger’s official online store and designated stores in 13 countries around the world. for sale. In Hong Kong, they can be found at at three special concept stores, namely the ones at Fashion Walk in Causeway Bay; Gateway Arcade in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui; and Langham Place, Mongkok.

The stores will be decked out in a special Astro Boy design with the iconic red of his boots being a prominent feature. It will also host a number of eye-catching figures Astro Boy himself so get a photo while you can.
