Hong Kong’s latest modern Cantonese restaurant is jumping into the art mania with an art exhibition of its own. Tycoon Tann will be supporting young and emerging local artist Lewis Lau with his solo art exhibition from March 16 – 31. His painted works build upon the elements of photographs that are important to memories or feelings, thus bringing to life his own emotions through his paintings. Happy Hour at hmv Bar & Restaurant

Zuma Absolut Art Bar turned ashram
Zuma will be painting the town in technicolour as they host the Absolut Art Bar from March 21 – 28. Hosting artist James Ostrer’s alter ego, Guru Jimmy, the Absolut Art Bar will be turned into the Absolut Spirituality Ashram, serving four rainbow-coloured cocktails in addition to Zuma’s Japanese fare. Located in Central’s Landmark building and open daily from 12pm, Zuma will be the place to be to unwind after Art Central and Art Basel. As an added treat, guests who present their ticket from these art exhibitions will receiver a complimentary cocktail after their first beverage purchase from 8pm onwards.
