The Benromach 1974 Single Malt Whisky

If less is more, then Benromach single malt whisky is one of Scotland’s greatest treasures, being made in the smallest working distillery on Speyside. Benromach Distillery, established in Moray in 1898, employs four people to make its whisky. The ingredients are only the finest Scottish barley and the purest spring water from the nearby Romach Hills. The distillery’s output is just 125,000 litres a year. The independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail, established in 1895, bought the distillery in 1993 after it had been mothballed by United Distillers. Five years later, the distillery was officially reopened by The Prince of Wales. Since then, the distillery has been honing its skills and applying them to producing something special. The distillery will soon release its rare and exclusive 1974 Benromach whisky in Asia. #legend was given a first taste and we concluded that Benromach 1974 is a big secret that you’ll be tempted to share with only your most appreciative friends.
