Fine dining at home: The best food delivery and takeaway options in Hong Kong

Thanks to COVID-19, we’re no longer allowed to dine at Hong Kong restaurants from 6pm onwards for the next week or so, but that doesn’t mean that you’ve got to slave away in the kitchen. To help you bring fine dining home, here are #legend’s picks on the top Hong Kong food delivery and takeaway options to try this week and beyond.

Four Seasons, Hong Kong

Staying at home doesn’t mean you can’t indulge in a full dining experience. From exquisite three-course lunch and dinner sets, cheese and ham platters, family-sized grilled meat dishes, a classic three-tier afternoon tea set, to an expansive à la carte menu and more, Four Seasons Hong Kong has just about everything that you are craving for. What’s more, apart from pick-up at the hotel, delivery service is also available at a premium.

We tried its wagyu beef ribs with truffle sauce (pictured above), which comes with two side dishes of your choice – one starch and one vegetable. Still warm and perfectly mouthwatering upon arrival, the sumptuous set can easily feed a party of four.

Available: For both pickup at The Lounge for lunch/ at Concierge desk for dinner, and delivery at a premium (HK$200 for Hong Kong Island, HK$300 for Kowloon and HK$500 for New Territories)
How to order: Look through the menus here, and request for delivery service via +852 3196 8882 or [email protected]

While its signature dim sum dishes, such as baked Middle East Yoshihama abalone puff and steamed shrimp dumpling with bamboo shoot are only served during lunch, its double-steamed soups, meat, seafood and vegetarian dishes are available all day long.

Another Michelin-starred restaurant in The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong offering takeaway is Tosca di Angelo, where you can choose from two seasonal menus, each incorporating the finest local produce and the best of what Italy has to offer, with all dishes cooked on the spot by the restaurant’s chefs.
