Tokyo’s Bar High Five to Arrive in Hong Kong This September

This September, The Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong will be hosting an exciting new pop-up in the top private floor of its highly acclaimed Mo Bar – Tokyo’s acclaimed Bar High Five.

Based in Tokyo, Bar High Five has won several awards in the past, and has even been recognised as the third best bar on the “Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2016” list. The pop-up will be introduced by founder and legendary Japanese bartender Hidetsugu Ueno, whose creative ability with cocktails and mixed drinks never fails to please. At the event, 14 special drinks will be presented to the guests in the newly renovated private room, The Shell. The room will be transformed into a jewel-box venue reminiscent of Mr Ueno’s glamorous Ginza institution. The drinks will be accompanied by an array of delectable treats by Landmark Mandarin Oriental’s Culinary Director, Richard Ekkebus.

Along with the opportunity to try new drinks, guests will be encouraged to join an Instagram photo contest to win a two-night stay for two people in the Mandarin Oriental Tokyo hotel.

The pop-up bar will be open from September 1 to October 31. mandarinoriental.com/landmark
