We’ve done the hard work so you can take the credit – here are the best places to celebrate this year’s Mother’s Day in the city: 

Armani/ Aqua

A glorious Chinese feast is always a good idea and when it comes to celebrating family occasions there is no place like Hutong. For their spicy Mother’s Day brunch, they’ll offer a family-style sharing menu featuring squid with Sichuan green pepper and Kung Po king prawns.

The Envoy

Dr. Fern’s Gin Parlour  

Inspired by the Swedish tradition of tea breaks, or “fika,” this sophisticated speakeasy will launch a new after-tea on Mother’s Day. The Nordic-inspired afternoon tea will celebrate the smells and flavours of summer botanicals and Scandinavian traditional tales.

Gia Trattoria Italiana  

Gia Trattoria Italiana will offer a brunch to celebrate “Mamma’s Day”. In addition to their traditional and regional dishes, the special menu includes exclusive dishes to celebrate mums in Italian style, including the “Uova in Purgatorio” (Italian poached eggs in spicy tomato sauce) and the “Stringhetti al nero” (homemade black squid ink pasta with clams and scallops).
