It looks like August is going to be yet another exciting month for K-pop fans around the world. We’ve had news of BTS’ new reality series and their first English single; an upcoming Blackpink and Selena Gomez collaboration; Kang Daniel’s return with MAGENTA; and now, the femme fatale of K-pop HyunA will join them with a track of her own.
After two weeks of relentless hint-dropping on her Instagram page, HyunA has finally confirmed speculations of her comeback. The singer-songwriter’s record label and management agency, P Nation, also unveiled the news via twitter, alongside a set of teaser images. The upcoming track is called Good Girl and is a pre-release single to what will be HyunA’s first full album, which we can expect later this year. Good Girl was written by HyunA herself, and judging by the red-hot official posters, we just know we’re in for yet another badass girl power anthem.
This single comes nine months after Flower Shower, HyunA’s first single with P Nation. The K-pop artist signed to Psy’s record label last summer, after a controversial departure from Cube Entertainment.
Good Girl will be released on various music streaming platforms on 26 August at 6pm KST/5pm HKT.
