The seafood platter on Limewood's new menu

Beach bumming at Limewood

Maximal Concept’s seaside seafood joint Limewood is introducing a new menu this month, and what better way to spend the long weekend than to explore some of their new offerings? While classics like their 48-hour Charred Beef Ribs and their Pork Skin Chicharron Guacamole remain, they are complimenting their beachfront view with a Seafood Platter: a daily selection of both raw cooked seafood. For something a little more extravagant, try their Pacific Whole Lobster with Sriracha butter; not quite a Surf N’ Turf dish, but maybe the cocktails expertly paired with their dishes and garnished with fresh ingredients will make up for it.

The restaurant and bar area at hmv in Causeway Bay

Alternative dining at hmv eat

If you think that the music retailer has taken a back seat to your music streaming sites, think again. With the opening of its new flagship store in Causeway Bay, hmv has reinvented itself into a lifestyle hub with music at its core. The three-storey Causeway bay flagship also boasts a dedicated floor for its own restaurant, the hmv Bar & Restaurant. The 12,000 square-feet space is a welcome relief to the narrow shopping street below, and with power outlets in easy reach for patrons, this is a lifestyle café you’ll really want to sink into to spend the long weekend. Menus can be found on their website here.

hmv Bar & Restaurant. 4/F Pearl City, 22-36 Paterson Street, Causeway Bay. +852 2504 1538. The hmv outlet in Central also offers a café and bar at Entertainment Building.
