The Peninsula Spa

The Peninsula Spa taps into traditional Chinese medicine for its latest spa treatments. The offerings, collectively called Han Therapy, seek to harmonise each guest’s body, mind and spirit, bringing them balance with the change of season.

With the arrival of spring, TCM practices focus on the revival of Yang energy in the body and the nourishment of the liver. At The Peninsula Spa, these processes are embraced with two new Han Therapy packages: Spring Cleanse, a 100-minute balancing ritual consisting of a 60-minute Meridian Massage and 30-minute Signature Scalp Massage; and the 120-minute revitalising Yang Energy Boost, which includes an extra 20-minute Meridian Gua Sha treatment.

Both packages begin with a consultation where an expert therapist will assess the guest’s Yuan points. Guests will then select three bottles from a customised combination of Five Element oils by Yangsen Biotechnology from Taiwan. Based on their selection, the therapist will recommend a suitable treatment.

In addition to the new seasonal Han Therapy treatments, the Spa is also offering a special Renewed and Celebrated spa package, which guests are invited to indulge in during their birthday month at the Grande Dame. Thoughtfully designed to provide a personalised wellness journey, the package includes a choice of a 60-minute Holistic Body Massage, including Aromatherapy, Swedish or Deeply Therapeutic Massage; use of the spa’s luxurious facilities; and time in their luxurious Relaxation Area and tranquil Asian Tea Lounge.

Another stellar Clarins release are two new products to join their Precious series, which uses the natural and restorative properties of the rare moonlight flower from France. The Precious La Mousse Douce Nettoyante is a cleanser enriched with nourishing camellia oil, softening raspberry water, exfoliating nopal extract and more. It also comes with a specially designed brush for a luxurious skincare experience. The Precious Protecteur UV Revitalisant SPF50 PA++++ hydrates, protects, and illuminates all in one, made from a combination of chemical filters for maximum protection without a white cast or oily feeling.

Inspired by the latest cryotherapy techniques, Clarins introduces the Cryo Flash Cream mask to its covetable repertoire. A light and cooling formula developed with dual molecular and plant technology to reproduce the mechanisms of cold on the skin, it harnesses the power of the cold to deliver radiance and a healthy glow. While organic evening primrose extract helps to improve the visible signs of ageing.

The new expert duo, Hydra-Essentiel [HA²] Bi-Phase Serum and Restoring Cream-Mask, combines regular and acetylated hyaluronic acids with organic leaf of life extract to deliver intense continuous, multi-level hydration, reinforcing the skin’s natural defences by improving its barrier function. Begin with the Serum, enriched with saffron flower polyphenols to refine skin texture and tighten pores. Then seal it up with the Cream, loaded with ceramides and lipids naturally present in the skin barrier to comfort and nourish the skin.

Issey Miyake

Issey Miyake introduces two new and intense Eaux de Toilette: L’Eau d’Issey Solar Violet and L’Eau d’Issey Pour Homme Solar Lavender. A fresh encounter between water and matter, the former combines violets with aquatic notes under the springtime sun. The luminous facets of this purple flower are enhanced by the sunny notes of pear. In the latter, pure water intertwines with vibrant lavender, creating a dynamic fusion of cool and warm, aquatic and aromatic. Sichuan pepper warms it up, while cedarwood adds depth.

Fresh

Experience retinol-like strength that is kind to skin. Fresh’s new and improved eye treatment features its iconic antioxidant black tea blend. The result is visibly improved dark circles and a firmer, smoother eye area. The addition of vitamin C helps to brighten and even skin tone, while wild ginger extract reduces the look of dark circles and eye bags.

CurrentBody
