Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, awards season looked a little different this year – with Zoom-call shows and virtual red carpets. Bringing the long awards season to a close, the 93rd Academy Awards‘ red carpet was full of glitz and glamour.

For those who weren’t aware, the dress code was sent in a letter to all nominees in mid-March from the producers, Steven Soderbergh, Stacey Sher and Jesse Collins: “You’re wondering about the dress code (as well you should). We’re aiming for a fusion of Inspirational and Aspirational, which in actual words means formal is totally cool if you want to go there, but casual is really not.” But as we witnessed, stars showed off their best looks forward, and some their worst – well, let’s just focus on the best.
