What: Children’s Medical Foundation Golf Tournament

This year, Friends of Asia Hong Kong Charity Golf Tournament 2019 presented by Children’s Medical Foundation (CMF) gathered more than on hundred of the city’s avid golfers and socialites such as Mr. CC Tung, Mr. Caleb Chan of Friends of Asia Hong Kong, Mrs. Purviz Shroff, Dr. Jack Wong of The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club, Ana R, Dr. Steve Rockowitz and Pro Golfer Shinichi Mizuno and more to attend the tournament and award presentation dinner, raising over a whopping HK$ 1.8 million for the Western and Central Rural Neonatal care in China. 

Every dollar raised goes directly to Children’s Medical Foundation’s newly launched program called “Every Baby Rescued”, which aims to support the rural area where the Neonatal Mortality rate remains high and underprivileged families with ill newborns. To prevent babies from suffering common diseases, the program also ensures that the rural hospitals in 12 provinces are equipped with Neonatal Intensive Care Units, frontline doctors and nurses for emergency baby care.
