Like it or not, love her or hate her, Taylor Swift is officially big enough to headline her own entertainment attraction. The Taylor Swift Experience is coming to New York’s South Street Seaport. This is super-size selfiedom on a spectacularly self-made scale. The multiplatinum-selling artist is curating the interactive exhibit herself, with the help of The Grammy Museum and The Howard Hughes Corporation. Swifty’s life and career will be revealed through personal photographs, home videos, handwritten lyrics, instruments used on tour, and a wardrobe of outfits worn on-stage and in videos, including in Bad Blood and Mean. Among the other interactive experiences is the actual VMA Moon Man that kicked off the controversy with Kanye all those years ago. Sadly, however, there’s no reference to the letter she sent Apple chief executive Tim Cook, taking the company to task for its decision not to pay artists during a free three-month trial with Apple Music. Otherwise, it’s full-on Swiftian Shrine that worshippers can gather around until February 19.
