Hermès unveils the Slim d’Hermès GMT edition

The collection will be limited to 90 pieces

Combining a modern sleekness with classic expertise, the construction of each Slim d’Hermès GMT is all about the details: gracefully slender curves decorate the case middle and the original numeral font is masterfully designed by the acclaimed Philippe Apeloig. The unbelievably thin GMT edition presents a case only 9.48mm thick, with a Manufacture Hermès H1950 movement at the heart of the piece, combined with the 1.4mm GMT module designed exclusively for Hermès by Agenhor. Featuring palladium in its construction—a rare and light platinum-group metal—combined with its ultra-thin form-factor, the GMT edition is a perfect timepiece for those constantly on the move. Travellers can also make use of the dual-time reading outfitted with two AM/PM indicators for home time and travel time, which can be swiftly adjusted with the dedicated pushbutton.

Each Slim d’Hermès GMT is crafted with palladium and an alligator strap

Boasting a sunburst chapter ring, a guilloché center and date counter, along with a silver-toned GMT counter, the piece is eye-catching and instantly recognisable. The beautiful internal architecture of the watch, including the hand-chamfered ‘sprinkling of Hs’ motif, circular-graining, and Côtes de Genève can also be easily admired through the sapphire crystal caseback. With a tastefully covert matt graphite alligator strap, fashioned in Hermès’ very own leather workshop, every element of the watch comes together seamlessly, making each chronometer a cohesive work of art. The collection is limited to only 90 pieces and will retail for HK$130,000.
