Musicians have lately moved further into the world of film, creating visual albums and stunning visual productions alongside their music. Shot in the heart of Los Angeles with the feel of brightly coloured summer nights of the 70’s, Calvin Klein chief creative officer Raf Simons partnered with indie band The xx to create a music video that is more video than music—and we love it.
This music video was shot by photographer and filmmaker Alasdair McLellan in collaboration with Simons, who contributed to the creative concept and direction.
Stranger Things star Mille Bobby Brown starred in the video alongside the King Of Pop’s daughter, Paris Jackson. Brown plays the main protagonist who witnesses other couples in love and the effects of being alone and left behind. The song itself speaks to being a romantic and daring your loved one to do something and the drama Millie goes through in the video embodies the universal experience of the ups and downs of young love.
