A Full Immersion Into the World of Perfumery With Louis Vuitton

What: Les Parfums Louis Vuitton Pop Up

When: December 2 to 18, 2016

Where: Times Square, Causeway Bay

For Louis Vuitton, discovering Les Parfums Louis Vuitton isn’t complete without getting to the very heart and soul of perfume-making. That’s why their latest pop-up in Hong Kong features not only the seven fragrances, but also Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud’s custom made Louis Vuitton trunk.

Cavallier-Belletrud spent months travelling around no less than five continents in his research to create the seven scents, Rose de Vents, Turbulences, Dans la Peau, Apogée, Contre Moi, Matière Noire and Mille Feux. During his creative process, the trunk became his inspiration. Situated in his office and housing 100 raw materials and scents including patchouli, iris, magnolia and the extremely precious agarwood, Cavallier-Belletrud’s trunk is, quite literally, the source for the new fragrances. And for the first time, the trunk is transported to Hong Kong for visitors to experience the delicate liquids and compositions for themselves.
